Frequently Asked Questions

Preparing and planning for your wedding day can come with lots of questions. The Landing staff try our best to make sure all your questions are answered and you are as prepared as possible for your big day! 

Do I need event insurance for my wedding? Yes. We require general liability insurance for all weddings.

How many people can this location accommodate? The Landing can comfortably accommodate 300 guests. This includes seating for the ceremony and for the wedding reception. The venue can hold up to 500 guests comfortably, but an additional fee will be charged.

Is The Landing responsible for day-of wedding coordination? No. The Landing is responsible for table set-up and linen placement, guest parking, general guest greeting, trash service, and venue-related questions before, during and after the event. We suggest you designate a point of contact person besides the bride or groom to handle all day-of wedding coordination.

Do I have to use an approved vendor by the venue? No! We do not have a required vendor list. You may choose any vendor to help you with your day. If they have not worked on the property before, we suggest they reach out to us to confirm their set-up and accommodation needs.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner at the venue? Weekend bookings may choose to have their rehearsal dinner the night before their event at the venue, with on-site catering allowed. Saturday bookings are granted on a case-by-case basis the week leading up to the event, without on-site catering allowed.

What does our payment plan look like? We require a non-refundable deposit fee of $500 upon contract signing and return. After that, we require 50% of your balance paid six months prior to your events and the entirety of the balance paid 60 days before the event.

What is our cancellation policy? We understand life happens. If, for some reason, you need to cancel your event with us, we will return your payments made to The Landing, aside from the non-refundable $500 deposit fee.

Can we use candles in our centerpieces? Yes! However, the flame needs to be enclosed at least two inches from the top by a designated container for the candle.

Do we need to have someone designated to park cars? No! As part of every wedding package with The Landing, we provide designated parking attendants for the day of your event.
